The Bata Foundation is excited to announce the opening of their new orphanage in Marikina, Philippines.

Greetings!

We have a new home!

On a recent visit to the Bata Foundation Orphanage in Marikina, I got to tour the new house that the girls recently moved into with their social worker, Cris and house parent, Jonathan. The place is cozy. A big step-up from the last structure in which they were staying. As you might know, we have been looking for some time now, to relocate the girls off of the premises of a manufacturing plant and closer to some of their schools. Thanks to some hard working friends in the Philippines, we have found the perfect home which we are now renting for the orphanage. However, we still need a few household items that would make the girls' lives a little more comfortable. Below is a list of some of the things that are needed.

  • table (1, seats 8)
  • chairs (15)
  • drinking glasses (24 pcs.)
  • silverware/ utensils (24 pcs. each)
  • plates (24 pcs.)
  • bowls (6 pcs.)
  • towels for bath and kitchen
  • microphone
  • rice cooker
  • pressure cooker
  • printer
